The following is an 8-week course for healthcare professionals

• BIO-392-ASY – Special Topic: PHARMACOLOGY FOR PRACTITIONERS (3.00 hrs)

This course is a systematic study of drugs used in the management and treatment of common disorders, with an emphasis on evidence-based guidelines and therapeutic assessments. Lectures will focus on providing students with a rational basis for drug selection and improving therapeutic outcomes. The course will explore common drugs and their corresponding therapeutic indications, mechanisms of action, adverse effects, toxicities, and drug interactions. Students will be trained to assess the benefits and risks of pharmacologic interventions in various patient care settings.
